I’m Larissa, a translator from English to Brazilian Portuguese. I have a bachelor’s degree in Translation Studies (English-Brazilian Portuguese).
In college, I worked with the translation and review of different kinds of texts as well as the creation of glossaries. I have experience in translation and proofreading for 4 years working with the localization of RPG games (mobile and console), a casual idling simulation game, an Idle RPG mobile game, and an Action/Adventure (Third-person Shooter) game. I have also worked with the translation of descriptions for game stores. Besides, I worked with the translation of seven books and with the MTPE of web novels.
I have been a gamer since I was a child, playing different game genres. I enjoy playing RPG, MMORPG, MOBA, and Indie games in my free time. I have a Games Translation certificate in How to Adapt and Localize Games and I believe it would be useful to help us turn games into Portuguese dynamically and funnily!
My rate for translation is $ 0.05 or € 0.03 per word. These rates are negotiable.

German translation of No Umbrellas Allowed | Hi,
after looking at your Steam store page I noticed that you currently don't offer a German translation/localization for your game No Umbrellas Allowed.
I am a freelance translator and native German and English speaker. In the past I have translated and localized games for publishers like the Slitherine Group and I would be happy to help you in this endeavor or other future projects.
If you want you can also send me a small sample text of your game in order for me to translate it. Please let me know whether you are interested and I am sure we could come to an agreement. I am also available to chat about this via Discord, Skype or any other kind of communication channel.

Possibility of more platforms | Good morning,
I hope you all are well, I’ve been a massive fan of no umbrellas allowed the aesthetic of the game perfectly captures a dystopian future while still making it feel extremely personable. I haven’t seen any plans to put the game on other platforms but have you all considered adding it to the “game pass for PC” library for Microsoft/Xbox? That collection is growing in indie games and I feel like No Umbrellas Allowed would fit in perfectly and reach an audience of people absolutely starved for great indie games. Thank you for the time I can’t wait to see more of your great work.

Being involved in such a demanding and booming industry it's often quite difficult for small independent developers, like yourself, to gain the much needed exposure to have a meaningful impact in the flooded marketplace.
